Integrated into the curriculum for pupils from an early age, at Brighton College Vietnam, Drama is taught using a combination of practical and academic approaches, with a focus on developing creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, especially situations taking place on stage, thereby, creating confidence in daily communication, when presenting problems in front of crowds and developing on the professional stage. In addition to regular Drama lessons, Brighton College Vietnam offers pupils the opportunity to take LAMDA Speech and Drama exams like pupils at Brighton College in the UK.
Throughout the school year, pupils at Brighton College Vietnam can audition for roles in school plays and musicals and are encouraged to participate in drama activities both inside and outside the classroom. The College’s drama department also offers a range of extracurricular activities and clubs, such as the Drama Society and the Shakespeare Club, which provide pupils with additional opportunities to ignite their passion for drama, develop their drama skills and participate in performances.

Brighton College Vietnam also boasts a 50-seat cinema with access to live theatre from around the world through Digital Theatre Plus and The National Theatre Collection on Drama Online; a Professional Recording Studio, Drama Studio black box and a Dance Studio to meet all pupils’ needs when they explore the arts.
