Developing Future Entrepreneurs at SEIA Hanoi Spring Regionals
Last weekend, our pupils proudly represented Brighton College Vietnam at the SEIA (Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association) Hanoi Spring Regionals, a dynamic business case competition that brings together young people from across the city to develop entrepreneurial thinking and real-world problem-solving skills. The event welcomed over 50 teams from 7 schools, creating an intellectually ambitious and highly competitive environment.

This round focused on two demanding areas: Hospitality (Case A) and Finance (Case B ). Throughout the competition, our pupils demonstrated confidence, resilience and a clear willingness to think creatively under pressure.
A special congratulations goes to Mimi and Phuong Vy (Year 12). They achieved an impressive average score of 96/100 in the Hospitality case and around 83–84 in the Finance case, earning them a place in the showdown, where they secured a convincing victory over Concordia International School Hanoi. Presenting on stage in front of judges and peers, they delivered clear, insightful analysis and professional, well-judged solutions that truly reflected their ambition and preparation.

Competitions such as SEIA allow pupils to develop teamwork, communication and strategic thinking in authentic contexts, building confidence and independence that extend beyond the classroom. This experience also aligns closely with Brighton College’s Entrepreneurship and Business Super Curriculum, which encourages pupils to explore enterprise, leadership and innovation through enrichment beyond examined courses.
