Forget the classroom, our Year 12 IB Biology and Geography pupils went out into the WILD, heading deep into Cát Tiên National Park for an incredible four-day field education adventure.

They experienced guided treks through ancient forests, jeep safaris across sweeping grasslands, and night walks through misty wetlands led by real biodiversity specialists. Pupils also came face-to-face with some of Vietnam’s most endangered animals at the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre, learning firsthand about wildlife conservation, rehabilitation, and what it truly takes to protect our planet’s most vulnerable species.

The experience provided valuable opportunities for ecological research and preparation for IB Internal Assessments, while encouraging a deeper appreciation of Vietnam’s natural environment.
