Year 4B Assembly: Amazon Adventures and Brazilian Spirit
Year 4B pupils have brought the spirit of Brazil to life through an engaging assembly focused on the Amazon Rainforest, environmental awareness, and Brazilian culture.
The pupils confidently spoke about important global issues, including deforestation and forest fires, connecting their learning to the story World Burns Down. They also explained the layers of the rainforest and how each layer supports different wildlife and ecosystems.
Beyond the rainforest, Year 4B introduced some of Brazil’s most famous cultural icons, including the nation’s love for football and the colourful artwork of Brazilian artist Romero Britto, whose vibrant creations have inspired people around the world.
To finish the performance, Year 4B filled the hall with joy through a delightful singing and dancing performance to Happy, leaving the audience smiling from beginning to end.
