In the Design & Technology class today, our Year 4 pupils took on an exciting challenge: teaming up to tackle design challenges and craft their catapults, drawing inspiration from ancient Greek architecture and inventions.
The classroom was exciting as pupils sketched their ideas, experimented with simple materials, and turned their concepts into reality. The big moment came when they tested their creations, exploring how forces and energy worked while finding ways to tweak their designs for even better performance.
At Brighton College Vietnam, Design & Technology is a hands-on journey into creativity and problem-solving. Offered to pupils from Year 3, our age-appropriate curriculum in Design & Technology encourages pupils to understand technical knowledge, see its impact on daily life, and use their imagination to create products that solve real-world problems.
