Year 3B Assembly: A Journey Through Ancient Egypt
Our Year 3B pupils led us on an extraordinary journey back in time today, transforming the assembly hall into the land of Pharaohs and legends. This wasn’t just a performance; it was a brilliant culmination of a whole term’s worth of dedicated study, showcasing how our pupils have masterfully connected the dots between History, Science, Art and other classes.
It was truly impressive to see the depth of knowledge on display. From their History lessons, the pupils brought the powerful gods and myths of Ancient Egypt to life with remarkable confidence. They then pivoted to Science, acting as young engineers to explain the sophisticated physics and construction techniques required to raise the Great Pyramids, demonstrating a clear understanding of forces and ancient ingenuity.
The journey continued as they shared the intricate and mysterious process of mummification, explaining the preservation techniques they studied last term. Seeing them bridge these different subjects so seamlessly is a testament to their hard work and curiosity.
We are incredibly proud of how Year 3B took ownership of their learning, proving that when different subjects meet, the results are truly magical. A huge congratulations to all our pupils for such a professional and memorable showcase!
