Step back in time to Ancient Egypt with our imaginative Year 3 pupils

In a recent Art lesson, pupils transformed their own portraits into powerful Pharaohs, blending creativity with historical discovery. Inspired by traditional Egyptian art, they designed regal headdresses, bold patterns and striking colours, bringing their royal identities to life.

From iconic crowns to detailed collars, each piece told a different story. Every young artist added their own personality, creating artworks full of confidence, individuality and imagination. Through this creative journey, Year 3 pupils developed artistic skills, explored an ancient civilisation and had fun along the way.
