Senior Spring Concert: A Showcase of Pupil-Led Talent

Senior Spring Concert: A Showcase of Pupil-Led Talent

Our second term culminated in a crescendo of talent at our Senior Spring Concert! With voices rising and instruments blazing, our musicians whisked us away to the glittering spectacle of “The Greatest Showman,” the frosty landscapes of “Frozen,” and the heart-pounding adventures of “James Bond: Skyfall.”

Beautiful individual performances lit up the stage, along with the first appearances of the school’s Purple Jelly Fish rock band and the Senior Choir. This concert was truly a showcase of pupil-led excellence. From handpicking and voting on songs to stepping up as music leaders, our pupils poured their hearts and souls into every facet of the event. Their passion and dedication shone through, infusing every moment with infectious energy as we bid farewell to another extraordinary term!

“This is the first concert I have ever done where the pupils are taking the lead in term of directing and guiding the other pupils. And it is fantastic!” shared Mr. Gleeson, Director of Music at Brighton College Vietnam. Mr. Gleeson is passionate about creating a supportive community which empowers pupils to lead and be the best version of themselves through the shared language of music, and this has translated beautifully in our two Spring concerts.

Pupils from 7C opened the concert with “A Million Dreams” – a touching melody that brought tears to the audience’s eyes.
