Recently, members of the Leadership Team and teachers from Brighton College Vietnam embarked on a meaningful journey to the mountainous regions of Lào Cai province to visit local schools. This reaffirmed our dedication to spreading kindness, fostering compassion, and building meaningful connections with communities in need.
Our first stop was Viet Tien Kindergarten and Primary & Secondary School, where the Brighton College Vietnam community helped repair damaged classroom floors and install new roofs in October 2024 after Typhoon Yagi. The journey continued with visits to three additional underprivileged schools in the region.
During the trip, they met with local education leaders, listened to the stories of teachers and pupils, and gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by these communities. These experiences will be a foundation for Brighton College Vietnam to design practical and impactful educational support programmes tailored to their needs.
We believe this journey will inspire our pupils to nurture kindness and a spirit of generosity – core values that will empower them to grow into compassionate and responsible global citizens. Join us in looking back on this heartwarming journey through these memorable moments captured during the trip!
