A Wonderful Year 2C Assembly: The Squash and the Squeeze

This week, Year 2C delighted parents, pupils, and teachers with a joyful assembly inspired by the much-loved story The Squash and the Squeeze. Through confident performances, expressive storytelling, and plenty of laughter, our pupils brought the story beautifully to life on stage.

What made the assembly even more special was the children’s creativity as they wrote their own stories using the same storytelling format and pattern from the book. From funny characters inspired by their teachers to humorous twists and clever rhymes, Year 2Cs demonstrated fantastic creativity, strong writing skills, and great confidence in sharing their ideas. We are so proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity shown by every pupil. Well done, Year 2C, on such a memorable performance!
