Brighton College Vietnam was honoured to welcome Mr Richard Cairns, Principal of Brighton College UK, CEO of Brighton College, and a member of Brighton College Vietnam’s Board of Directors. Our pupils shared a truly memorable moment with Mr Cairns, empowering our pupils to flourish with curiosity, confidence, and kindness, embodying the spirit of Brighton College.

With a proud heritage spanning over 200 years, Brighton College has set the benchmark for excellence in British education, inspiring generations of curious, confident learners. Mr Cairns has played an instrumental role in furthering this legacy, bringing significant achievements to the College. Under his guidance, Brighton College UK earned School of the Decade by The Sunday Times, and a top Sixth Form ranking. 

Among Mr Cairns’ many honours, he is a two-time recipient of the UK Head of the Year title at the Tatler Schools Awards, often considered the “Oscars” of British independent schools. The Tatler Schools Awards, held in London, are one of the most prestigious events in the UK’s education calendar.
