[EntrepreneaurialMinds] From Business Class to Social Impact: The CKC Foundation Journey

At Brighton College Vietnam, we are committed to nurturing not only academic excellence but also a strong sense of social responsibility in our pupils. Through our Entrepreneurship and Business programme, starting from Year 7, pupils learn how business can be a force for good, benefiting both companies and communities while fostering sustainable and meaningful values.
Follow the story of CKC Foundation, an inspiring social enterprise project founded by Gia Bao, a Year 10 pupil. Building on lessons learned in class, Gia Bao and his peers turned theory into action, combining determination and creativity to establish the CKC Foundation. This initiative aims to connect communities, spread kindness, and support those in need.
The CKC Foundation operates by selling products like beverages, baked goods, and seasonal gifts at special events. All profits are donated to support charitable programmes, including aid for shelters, temples, hospitals, and even animal rescue centres.
Throughout this journey, the pupils have been guided by their dedicated teachers, especially Mr Whitehead, who has supported them every step of the way, from brainstorming ideas to successfully executing the project.
Gia Bao shared: “Curiosity, Kindness, and Confidence are the core values that Brighton College Vietnam instils in us. Let’s open our hearts and show care to those less fortunate. It doesn’t take a grand gesture to make a difference – sometimes, a small act of kindness or a sincere word is enough to create a better society.
