Our library, with its cosy reading corners, is thoughtfully designed to inspire a love of reading and learning. “Our commitment is to cultivate a love for reading at school,” says Mr. John McRobbie, our passionate librarian. “By introducing pupils to a wide range of authors, genres, and stories, we open their minds to new experiences and help them grow as confident readers.” But the focus isn’t just on reading – “Building meaningful relationships with our pupils is key, we strive to connect them to reading through what they are passionate about.” – adds Mr. McRobbie.

• A collection that spans the global: Our library’s diverse collection features books from around the world, offering pupils a chance to explore global perspectives and cultures through literature.
• Board Games:  Pupils can dive into engaging tabletop games that not only entertain but also stimulate strategic thinking and collaboration, adding a fun twist to their learning experience.
• Reading Challenges: By joining the Reading Challenge, pupils develop perseverance, improve their focus, and actively explore the world around them. Even more, they experience the joy of sharing their love of reading with others.
• Author Visits: Renowned authors will be invited to our library, offering pupils a unique opportunity to connect with the creators of their favourite stories and gain insights into the world of writing.
