Celebrating Don’s journey to victory at the World Robot Olympiad

We are thrilled to celebrate an outstanding achievement by Don, a Year 9 pupil, who, together with his team, won 1st place at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Open Championship Americas 2025 in Panama!

Competing in the RoboSport category, Don and his teammates showcased incredible creativity, precision, and teamwork as they navigated through intense rounds of competition. They overcame numerous technical challenges, demonstrated remarkable problem-solving skills, and impressed judges from around the world.
In a thrilling finale, his team defeated the US team in the Semi-final and went on to claim victory against Canada in the Final, earning the top spot on the podium. 🥇👏

Behind today’s victory are countless hours spent learning to code, intense moments testing the robot, and countless tireless attempts to fix every error. Every moment of effort has contributed to this proud achievement. Congratulations to Don on what you have achieved through your passion for technology, perseverance, and enduring teamwork.
