Year 8 Pupils Develop Strategic Branding Concepts from Creative Ideas

From the stage to the boardroom, our Year 8 pupils have transformed their Drama class commercial concepts into full-fledged business strategies. This project demonstrated the effectiveness of interdisciplinary approach in fostering critical thinking and the ability to apply knowledge to solve real-world problems.

The project requires pupils to create a crisp brand along with a complete plan that includes Brand Positioning, Market Analysis, and a Communication Strategy.

With this interesting endeavour, our pupils developed key competencies in the:

  • Brand Identity Development: Articulating unique value propositions and target markets for their snack brands.
  • Market Analysis: Conducting in-depth examinations of existing snack brands, yielding valuable market insights.
  • Integrated Marketing Communications: Combining creative video advertisements with detailed marketing plans, demonstrating a holistic approach to business strategy.
