Year 1’s Fantastic Farm Adventure

Our Year 1 pupils had a wonderful field trip to Eco Park City Farm, where they explored what life is like on a real working farm. The children learned how to care for animals, picked fresh produce, and used it in their cooking activities.

The highlight of the day was making pancakes using freshly laid eggs — and of course, meeting and even feeding the friendly farm animals! 

It was a joyful, hands-on learning experience that beautifully brought nature, food, and fun together.
