Brighton College Vietnam is organising a series of activities for Year 6 pupils to facilitate their transition into the Senior School: including an assembly, meetings with the pastoral team and form teachers, as well as taster classes.
“They are designed to build familiarity, reduce anxiety, and ensure pupils feel seen, supported, and excited as they begin their Senior School journey,” said Mrs Kim Devlin, Head of Key Stage 3 and Teacher of Design Technology.
The Transition Assembly, led by Senior School teachers and the pastoral team, gave our pupils an overview of daily routines, expectations, and the exciting experiences that await them in Year 7. They were also introduced to the Pastoral Team and learned how to seek help, share worries, and build positive relationships.
Following the assembly, pupils met their new form tutors and explored their form rooms. They also joined taster classes in subjects such as Business, Maths, Science, Design Technology, English, Art, Humanities, Physical Education, and Computer Science.
We wish all the pupils an exciting journey ahead at Senior School!
