Pupil Spotlight: Brightonian Triumphs at the ASIA Business Simulation Competition
We are proud to celebrate Minh Trang, Year 9, for receiving the Best Speaker Award at the prestigious ASIA Business Simulation Competition. This international program challenges pupils to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship – from initial market research and product development to live operations and revenue generation – across four rigorous rounds: Auction, Operation, Business Battle, and Pitch Deck.
Driven by a desire to test her classroom knowledge in a high-stakes environment, Minh Trang viewed the competition as a vital bridge between theory and practice: “I’ve always been curious about how businesses operate in the real world,” she shared. “This was an opportunity to challenge myself beyond the classroom and experience that firsthand.”
Minh Trang credits her success to the rigorous Business curriculum at Brighton College Vietnam, noting that her academic foundation allowed her to navigate complex concepts with ease. “The strength of the knowledge I gained at school gave me a significant advantage,” she explained. “I could focus on strategy and execution without having to relearn the fundamentals.”
Her leadership extends beyond the competition; she has recently been appointed as the youngest member of the organizing body’s Business Club Core Team. We are excited to see how she will share these global insights and her evolving entrepreneurial perspective with her peers back on campus.
