Nurturing a Love of Reading – World Book Day 2026

Today, our school community gathered to celebrate World Book Day, a vibrant occasion dedicated to the joy of reading and its power to spark curiosity and imagination.

The campus was transformed into a living library as pupils and teachers stepped into the shoes of their favourite literary characters. A major highlight was the World Book Day Costume Competition, where students proudly showcased their creativity, bringing beloved stories to life with impressive flair.

Beyond the costumes, the day served as a meaningful reminder that books are gateways to new worlds and diverse perspectives. By nurturing curiosity, kindness and a lifelong love of discovery, reading remains at the heart of our learning journey.
