Move Up Day: Year 6 Experience a Day in Senior School

Move Up Day brought a wonderful buzz of excitement to school yesterday, as our Year 6 stepped into life as Senior School pupils for the day.

The morning was filled with discovery, with new classrooms to explore, new teachers to meet and a timetable full of hands-on learning. Science became a thrilling whodunit as pupils worked together to solve a “Murder Mystery” case using blood types, while Design Technology took them outdoors to put their engineering skills to the test through water balloon challenges. They also rolled up their sleeves for team-building activities before channeling their creativity in Entrepreneurship, where they invented their very own crisp brand, complete with catchy names, bold flavours, eye-catching packaging and clever marketing pitches.

It was a brilliant glimpse of what lies ahead, and the excitement is already building. Get ready, Senior School, Year 6 cannot wait for August!
