Blue Stockings is a play by Jessica Swale, a British playwright, director, and screenwriter. First performed in 2013, it brings to life the struggles of the first female students at Girton College, Cambridge, in 1896. Through compelling performances, our pupils delve into the struggles and triumphs of these courageous women, reflecting on themes of education, gender equality, and the tension between personal aspirations and societal expectations.
Join us for an evening of stirring performances and thought-provoking storytelling as we reflect on the power of education, the pursuit of knowledge, and the unbreakable spirit of those who dared to dream.
