IGCSE Awards Ceremony: Celebrating our First IGCSE Cohort

“IGCSEs are demanding. They test knowledge, resilience, organisation, and self-belief — and you have risen to that challenge with maturity and determination.” — Mrs Carly Barber, Head of College
Two meaningful years of IGCSE study have now drawn to a close for our very first IGCSE cohort of Brighton College Vietnam. In this inaugural year of IGCSE entries, nearly half of all grades were awarded at A or A* level, with 91% of pupils achieving at least one A-grade. Several pupils were recognised with High Achiever Awards for their outstanding performance. Vi Khoi achieved a remarkable hat-trick, attaining the Highest Marks in English Literature, English Language and Computer Science, and Thuy Linh was honoured for achieving the Highest Marks in the Country for Fine Art.
As we gather for this special ceremony, we invite our community to share in this pride and celebrate the resilience, determination and self-belief our pupils have developed throughout their journey. These qualities will continue to guide them as they step confidently into the next chapter of their IB journey — well prepared, grounded in strong values, and ready to embrace what lies ahead.
