Honouring the 2025-2026 Brighton College Vietnam Scholars
The Brighton College Vietnam community came together for a truly special evening to celebrate 46 exceptional pupils who have shown remarkable academic achievement, perseverance, and an enduring love of learning.
The celebration was filled with warmth and pride as parents, teachers, and pupils gathered to honour the spirit of scholarship that defines Brighton College Vietnam. Throughout the evening, inspiring stories of curiosity, courage, and personal growth were shared — stories that embody the values we hold dear: the boldness to ask questions, the quiet confidence to lead with integrity, and the kindness to uplift others.
In her address, Ms Carly Barber, Head of College, spoke about the deeper meaning of scholarship at Brighton College Vietnam:
“Being a scholar isn’t really about being clever. It’s about being curious. At Brighton College Vietnam, we celebrate academic excellence because we know that ideas change the world. But cleverness alone – without kindness, without curiosity – is like a lightbulb with no electricity. It might look impressive, but it won’t shine for long.”
