Exploring Future Pathways at the BMI Hanoi University Fair

Our Year 10 – 12 pupils had an opportunity to engage with 14 universities as part of the BMI Hanoi programme. It was an excellent opportunity for the Key Stage 4 pupils to begin conversations with leading institutions in Europe, understand the range of programmes on offer, the entry profiles they seek in competitive admissions, in addition to learning about a new destination, the culture, the environment, and wider opportunities for study.

For the Year 12 pupils, Europe is a destination many of them are considering for university, especially with the high concentration of acclaimed institutions that focus on business, economics, management, finance and entrepreneurship, through their triple crown accreditations. The fair therefore provided a meaningful opportunity for pupils to speak directly with admissions officers and university representatives who may later receive their applications in Year 13.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), a top-ranked institution with a strong global reputation in engineering, business & design, was also a popular choice for conversations, as was the niche institution of Embry-Riddle, who focus on Applied Science, Aviation, Engineering, Space, Security, Intelligence and Safety, Computer & Technology & Business.

Such opportunities form an important part of the College’s ongoing support for pupils as they explore future pathways and make informed choices about the next stage of their educational journey.
