Our Year 6 pupils took to the pitch this week to play Quidditch, a sport that is widely known among Harry Potter fans! With broomsticks between their legs and imaginations soaring, the pupils played as Chasers, Keepers, Beaters, and Seekers, developing a range of skills: teamwork, collaboration and organisation.

Quidditch is an exciting activity that allows pupils to step into a world of magic while participating in a physically demanding and mentally stimulating game. Throughout the session, they practised a variety of movements, running, throwing, kicking, passing, attacking, and defending, enhancing their flexibility, strength, and control.

From dodging Bludgers to chasing the elusive Golden Snitch, this unique sport helped pupils build strength, coordination, and plenty of house spirit.

This magical sporting experience is part of our broader Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) programme, which is designed to enhance and complement the academic curriculum. These sessions play a vital role in fuelling pupils’ learning journeys, helping them build essential social and leadership skills, and developing a positive outlook toward school and lifelong learning.
