In the Design Technology (DT) Clinic, creativity meets precision. What begins as a simple sketch soon takes digital form through Autodesk Fusion 360, as pupils bring their research and ideas to life in the form of detailed 3D CAD models.

Once these digital designs are ready, the creative journey moves into the workshop. Here, pupils put their concepts to the test using foam, MDF, and cardboard — materials that allow for hands-on experimentation and refinement. Each prototype represents a new opportunity to adapt, improve, and reimagine until a final design emerges.

The DT Clinic provides every Year 11 pupil studying IGCSE Design Technology with dedicated weekly sessions to focus deeply on their projects. With expert guidance from their teachers, pupils are developing both technical mastery and creative confidence — essential qualities of tomorrow’s designers and innovators.

At Brighton College Vietnam, the DT Clinic is more than just a club. It is a space where ideas take shape, skills are strengthened, and imagination finds form – inspiring pupils to turn their creativity into tangible outcomes that extend far beyond the classroom.
