Building robots, building friendships: Global STEAM Camp 2025
Last week, Brighton College Vietnam welcomed pupils from South Korea to take part in the Global STEAM Competition Camp 2025, enjoying three days of creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for technology.
.
Over two days at the campus, 20 of our Year 5–6 pupils paired up with their Korean friends to take on the Space Challenge. Together, they built and programmed robots, gradually moving from basic tasks to advanced coding and strategy. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but each one became a chance to think differently, try new solutions, and learn how to work closely in an international team.
The camp finished with the Mars Mission Challenge at the I.C.E. Convention Centre in Hanoi. In a lively and supportive atmosphere, mixed teams guided their robots through a simulated mission to Mars, producing performances that were exciting, imaginative and fun to watch.Congratulations to all the teams for their brilliant efforts and for making this a truly memorable few days of learning and friendship at Brighton College Vietnam.
