Our pupils know there is a whole world beyond the classroom. We nurture in them a deep awareness of the world around them – encouraging them to see themselves not as separate from society, but as active, compassionate contributors to it. Through this lens, our pupils begin to understand local, national, and global issues with empathy and a strong sense of responsibility.
Today, Brightonians joined millions of people around the world in celebrating Earth Day – a special occasion dedicated to honouring our planet and exploring ways to protect it for future generations.
In class, our pupils take on small initiatives – crafting wind-powered boats, balloon vehicles, and paper mâché globes – and learn that even the simplest actions can carry great meaning when done with big hearts. During Assembly, our pupils also learned about the Earth, pollution issues and solutions to make our planet more liveable.
Through these thoughtful steps, they begin to experience the joy of making a difference, one idea, one action, one meaningful moment at a time.
