Our Year 3 pupils recently embarked on an exciting residential trip filled with hands-on learning, teamwork, and outdoor fun! Set against the backdrop of a beautiful natural landscape, this experience encouraged pupils to step outside their comfort zones, develop independence, and strengthen friendships.
The trip was packed with enriching activities. In Organic Gardening, pupils worked alongside local farmers to learn about sustainable agriculture. Your Plant, Your Pot allowed them to unleash their creativity by decorating and taking home a potted plant. Nature Art inspired them to use natural materials to craft beautiful creations, fostering an appreciation for their surroundings.
Pupils also took on the Tent Challenge, working together to set up tents—a perfect exercise in communication and problem-solving. As the sun set, they gathered around the fire for Muong Storytelling, where they immersed themselves in the traditions and legends of the Muong people. The Cooking Class was another highlight, as pupils teamed up with chefs to prepare meals for their classmates, building confidence and cooperation in the kitchen.
Through these experiences, our Year 3 pupils gained valuable life skills, from teamwork and resilience to creativity and cultural awareness. The trip was a fantastic opportunity for them to grow, explore, and create lasting memories!
