A Colourful Learning Journey with 5C
Year 5C has treated the Brighton College Vietnam community to a vibrant assembly, reflecting on all they have learned, created, and achieved throughout the year.
From baking banana bread and sharing healthy lifestyle choices in HEALTH, to an exciting volcanic eruption experiment in Science using Mentos, cola, and vinegar, the pupils demonstrated how classroom learning can be hands-on, engaging, and full of discovery.
The children also brought Mathematics to life by applying their knowledge of fractions to solve a familiar real-world challenge: sharing pizza fairly. Through their creative and humorous presentation, Year 5C showed that math is not just something found in textbooks but a skill we use every day.
The assembly continued with fascinating insights into history, geography, and culture, as pupils confidently shared their learning about Vietnam, the United States, and the wider world. Each presentation highlighted their growing curiosity, confidence, and ability to make meaningful connections across different subjects.
To conclude the assembly, Year 5C delighted the audience with an energetic performance of Can’t Stop the Feeling!, accompanied by an adorable music video created by the pupils themselves. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and joyful spirit provided the perfect ending to a truly memorable showcase.
