Brighton College Vietnam marked Mental Health Awareness Week 2025 with a series of meaningful activities centred on wellbeing and community, held from 12th to 18th May.
“This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is themed Community, highlighting the importance of connection, kindness, and shared support in nurturing our well-being. The week is designed to encourage pupils, staff, and families to reflect on how we can take care of ourselves and each other,” shared Quynh Nguyen, School Psychologist.
Highlights included Secret Caregivers, where thoughtful gestures were exchanged anonymously across the community, and a lively Wake & Shake session to support physical wellbeing through movement and team spirit. To continue the conversation beyond this week, a monthly mental health check-in survey will launch in May, encouraging ongoing reflection among pupils and staff.
The week reflects the school’s commitment to pastoral care and to building a kind, connected community. We recognise mental health education as a vital component in fostering a healthy and supportive environment where pupils can thrive, academically, socially, and emotionally.
