Sport is an essential part of school life. Along with celebrating sporting excellence, our ethos is about sport for all.
We offer pupils a wide range of sporting opportunities, whatever their ability.
We value participation as equally important as performance. Engaging in sports nurtures teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline and resilience. It is not solely about winning or personal achievements but also about relishing the sport, contributing to the team, and acquiring valuable life skills that extend beyond the game.
Our Sports
Swimming
Swimming is recognised as one of the most beneficial sports for all ages. It not only improves pupils’ stamina, balance and posture, but also keeps their hearts and lungs healthy.
Athletics
Core skills are developed across all disciplines in both track and field. Our athletes enjoy attending inter-school meets and representing the school in a range of events.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics helps young learners build strength, flexibility, and coordination from an early age. It enhances body control and confidence, while encouraging discipline and focus through structured movement and balance-based activities.
Physical Education
Our PE curriculum promotes physical fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship. Through a range of activities, pupils develop core movement skills, build healthy exercise habits, and value fair play. We aim to inspire a lifelong love of physical activity in a supportive and inclusive environment from Early Years to Year 6.
Sports Life
Our Sporting Spaces
At Brighton College Vietnam, pupils thrive in exceptional sporting facilities. They train in our Olympic-standard swimming pool, FIBA-certified sports halls, and professional gym. Outdoor activities take place on expansive sports fields, surrounded by running tracks, offering the perfect setting for building resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Clubs and Activities
We understand the importance of flexibility for families, so offer an extended day for children aged three and above. We have over 65 clubs available and encourage every pupil to participate in our activities programme.
