End of Year Art Showcase: A Year of Creativity on Display

We warmly invite you to celebrate the creativity, imagination, and artistic growth of our Senior School pupils at this year’s End of Year Art Showcase. Spanning Years 7 to 12, the exhibition brings together a carefully curated selection of work produced throughout the academic year, offering a window into the ideas, techniques, and creative journeys our pupils have explored in their Art lessons.
Year 7 presents observational studies of food, where pupils honed their drawing skills through close looking and experimentation with a range of materials. Year 8 delves into the theme of People and Places, with work that reflects each pupil’s understanding of identity, environment, and composition. Year 9 showcases the breadth of skills developed across their rotation programme, with projects that highlight their growing versatility as young artists.
Work from Years 10, 11, and 12 traces a compelling creative journey from early experimentation and exploration through to refinement and resolved outcomes, reflecting the increasingly independent and sophisticated nature of their artistic practice.
Also on display are collaborative works by Years 7 and 8, which speak to something beyond technical skill: the confidence to create together, to share ideas, and to produce something greater as a team than any one pupil could alone.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our school and leave feeling inspired by the wonderful work on display!
