Year 6 Assembly: Ready for the Next Chapter
Yesterday, our Year 6 pupils took centre stage for their Assembly, marking a major milestone in their educational journey. Through their moving production, The Heart of BCVN, they celebrated their shared growth and explored what truly holds our school community together.
Weaving together their learning from Our Past and Our Planet, Science, and English, the pupils reminded us that the “heart” of Brighton is not a physical space, but the values we share. We saw the courage and determination of the Hồ Chí Minh Trail, the seamless teamwork of the circulatory system, the profound compassion of Nelson Mandela, and the soaring confidence of their own persuasive speeches. Every scene was a vibrant reflection of our core values: Curiosity, Kindness, and Confidence.
Ultimately, the performance reminded us that our pupils themselves are the true heart of Brighton. Through their daily kindness, support for one another, and small efforts to make a positive difference, they are the ones who make our community what it is.
As they prepare to step into Senior School, they take with them their own unique qualities, self-belief, and a quiet sense of belonging. It was wonderful to see these traits on display yesterday, and we look forward to supporting them as they begin this next chapter.
