Year 3C Assembly: A Journey Through Japan
Today, Year 3C took the audience on an exciting journey through Japan through poetry, dance and drama, bringing to life the culture, traditions and creativity of the Land of the Rising Sun.
The pupils guided the audience through famous cities such as Sapporo, Kyoto and Okinawa, introducing the unique cultural highlights of each region. One of the most memorable moments was the pupils’ Haiku poetry performance, where they showcased their creativity and appreciation for Japanese culture through poems they had written themselves.
The assembly also gave the audience a chance to explore famous Japanese characters and icons such as Pikachu, Hello Kitty and Doraemon, highlighting Japan’s creativity and global cultural influence.
The atmosphere became even more exciting with a graceful Nihon Buyo performance, before pupils transformed into powerful Samurai warriors in a confident and energetic showcase.
