Hanoi International Schools Connect for Library Professional Development
Today, Brighton College Vietnam was delighted to welcome librarians and library assistants from across the Hanoi international school community, including UNIS, Concordia, BIS, BVIS, True North, Reigate, Dewey, HIS, Westlink, Hanoi Toronto School, DGS, and St.Paul American School, for a collaborative professional development afternoon.
The gathering sparked meaningful conversations on how to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Presentations and discussions ranged from empowering pupils through library leadership, fostering community, creativity, and critical thinking through tabletop gaming to the thoughtful development of world language collections and practical strategies for promoting a lifelong love of reading. Looking ahead, the group explored exciting opportunities for inter-school collaboration, including the annual Battle of the Books competition.
We look forward to the collaborative projects and initiatives that will continue to enrich the learning journey and continue to cultivate a reading culture for all our pupils.
