The new term has kicked off at the Prep with incredible enthusiasm as our pupils dive into a rich and varied music curriculum that continues to develop creativity, confidence, and musical understanding. From their earliest experiences of sound and rhythm to more advanced instrumental and digital composition, our students are building skills progressively across every year group.

Exploratory learning, improvisation, and composition sit at the heart of our lessons this term, with children experimenting thoughtfully with rhythm, pitch, texture, and structure. By blending practical instrumental learning with modern technology, pupils are able to compose, layer, and refine their ideas using the latest tools. This balanced approach ensures that all our pupils are developing as reflective, expressive, and increasingly independent musicians!
