Residential Trip | Year 6 Out of the Classroom, Into the Wild

Our Year 6 pupils recently headed to the stunning Huu Lung Valley in Lang Son for an adventure that was as meaningful as it was memorable. Surrounded by sweeping mountain scenery, they stepped boldly outside their comfort zones, taking on outdoor challenges including hiking through Dong Lam Valley and trying their hand at stand-up paddleboarding on open water.

But it wasn’t just about the adventure. Alongside the excitement came quieter, equally powerful moments – connecting with the local environment, discovering a different way of life, and developing a genuine appreciation for the world beyond their everyday surroundings.

They left as explorers. They returned as a stronger, more confident, more connected Year 6.
