[Year 2B Assembly] Exploring the Wonders of Our Natural World!
In this Prep School Assembly, Year 2B took us on a vibrant learning journey through different natural habitats. Each group of pupils researched and presented a specific habitat — from the icy Arctic and the wide African savannah to the familiar garden habitat close to home.
Through their presentations, pupils explained the climate, plants and animals found in each environment, and demonstrated their understanding of how living things adapt to survive in different conditions. Working in groups allowed them to develop teamwork, communication and collaboration skills, while building confidence speaking in front of an audience.
Most importantly, they truly enjoyed the process. Learning through performance, creativity and shared discovery made the topic engaging, memorable and fun. It was a wonderful example of how meaningful learning can come to life beyond the classroom.
We are incredibly proud of Year 2B’s curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm — young learners growing into thoughtful global explorers.
