Year 2’s Exciting Day at Chimi Farm

Year 2 had an amazing time during their visit to Chimi Farm! Pupils were delighted to interact with bunnies, hamsters, goats, and even adorable baby quail chicks. Feeding the animals was definitely one of the favourite moments of the day.

The children also had the chance to pick cucumbers straight from the vines, observe grapes growing, and taste some fresh fruit right on the spot. They proudly returned to school with cucumbers, quail eggs, and a little succulent — wonderful keepsakes from a meaningful day of learning. 

A truly memorable experience that helped them understand where our food comes from and appreciate the natural world around them.
