[Scholar Programme] Curiosity that Connects Us

Becoming a Scholar at Brighton College Vietnam has been a memorable milestone in Minh Anh’s educational journey. “During my past two years in Brighton College Vietnam, the scholarship program is one of the things that I personally enjoy,” she shared.

She recalled the very first Scholars’ meeting, held in the backroom of the library. “Even in such an enclosed space that initial encounter still feels like a huge and important conference with all intellectual pupils gathering together, introducing one another and discussing future goals from Law, Business and Media to Science and Philosophy. There was no limit and everything was openly welcomed and well-received.”

As the programme entered its second year, the Scholars grew even closer. They began leading school tours for new parents and pupils and organised BrightTalk sessions where each Scholar presented a personally chosen topic ranging from psychology and philosophy to science, sparking engaging and thought-provoking discussions. Through these sessions, Minh Anh discovered that she was not only learning new knowledge but also gaining a deeper understanding of her peers, their interests, personalities and ways of viewing the world.

The Scholars were given opportunities to meet distinguished guest speakers visiting Brighton College Vietnam. Each encounter opened new doors to learning and inspired them to view the world through fresh perspectives. “Every time we meet, we learn something new,” Minh Anh shared.

For Minh Anh, the Scholar Programme has been more than a platform for academic enrichment. It has been a journey of self-discovery and growth that perfectly reflects the spirit Brighton College Vietnam seeks to nurture – inspiring every pupil to be confident, kind, and endlessly curious about the world around them.
