Brighton College Vietnam has officially opened its new Sixth Form Centre -a purpose-built space designed to guide pupils through the transformative final stage of their school journey and onwards to the world’s leading universities. This marks a significant milestone in the school’s development, offering a carefully curated environment where Sixth Form pupils can thrive both academically and personally.
Created in close collaboration with Brighton College UK, the new centre embodies both innovation and inspiration. “We’ve worked in close partnership with Brighton College UK – collaborating with their architects, advisors, and our own team—to design a space that is not only functional but deeply inspirational. This centre is intended to help pupils visualise what they can achieve, to set their sights on ambitious goals, and to become the very best versions of themselves,” said Mrs Carly Barber, Head of College.
Mr Graeme Owton, CEO of Brighton College International, emphasised the importance of the space in shaping pupils’ futures: “The new Sixth Form Centre at Brighton College Vietnam will provide a dedicated space to support pupils’ transition from GCSEs to the International Baccalaureate. It’s a space designed to act as a springboard – helping them prepare for university and the wider adult world.”
The opening also holds meaningful significance for educational collaboration between the UK and Vietnam, and reflects Brighton College Vietnam’s commitment to delivering the very best of British educational heritage. Mr William Lawrenson, British Deputy Consul General, described it as an “important milestone” for both countries. “It’s a huge step, and education is one of the most important aspects of the UK–Vietnam relationship. The more we learn about one another, the more valuable and meaningful our educational exchange becomes.”
Brighton College Vietnam’s new Sixth Form Centre stands as a symbol of academic ambition and opportunity-a bold new chapter not only for the school, but for the many bright futures it helps to shape.
